พระพรหม : เทพเจ้าผู้สร้างจักรวาลและโลก มหาเทพแห่งความเมตตา และลิขิตชตามนุษย์ ขอสิ่งใดก็จะประสบแต่ความสำเร็จ
พระพรหมเป็นเทพเจ้าองค์แรกในตรีมูรติ (ได้แก่ พระพรหมณ พระนารายณ์ และพระอิศวร) ในตำราได้กล่าวไว้ว่าพระพรหมนั้นมีกายสีแดง มี 4 พระพักตร์ พระกร 4 ข้าง ถือคฑา ลูกประคำ หม้อน้ำ หรือคันศร ประทับอยู่บนอาสน์บัวบาน และทรงหงส์เป็นพาหนะ ชาวฮินดูที่นับถือไวษพณิกาย จะมีความเชื่ออยู่ว่าพระพรหมได้เกิดออกจากพระนาภีร์(สะดือ)ของพระนารายณ์ ในช่วงเวลาขณะที่กำลังบรรทมอยู่เหนือลำตัวพญานาคในทะเลน้ำนมหรือเกษียรสมุทร

Brahma is the first god in the Trimurti (namely Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva).
