#ประวัติความเป็นมาพิธีขอพรเทพเจ้าไฉ่ซิงเอี๊ย
พิธีหนึ่งที่ชาวจีนถือเชื่อและถือปฎิบัติกันในวันตรุษจีน หรือวันขึ้นปีใหม่ของพี่น้องชาวจีนคือ พิธีขอพร #เทพเจ้าไฉ่ซิงเอี๊ย ซึ่งเป็นเทพเจ้าที่ให้คุณทางด้านเงินทอง และโชคลาภ (โดยคนจีนถือว่าเป็นเทพเจ้าแห่งโชคลาภ) นอกจากนี้ยังถือเป็นเทพเจ้าที่มีความสำคัญมากที่สุดในการเริ่มเข้าสู่ปีนักษัตรใหม่ (ตรุษจีน) เนื่องจากเป็นเทพเจ้าที่ได้รับการกราบไหว้เป็นองค์แรกของปีก็ว่าได้
การบูชาไฉ่สิ่งเอี้ยหรือเทพเจ้าแห่งโชคลาภและความมั่งคั่ง สามารถพบได้ในหลายประเทศในทวีปเอเชีย เช่น ทิเบต, จีน, ญี่ปุ่น, เกาหลี, อินเดีย, ไทย, มาเลเซีย, สิงคโปร์และอินโดนีเซียแต่จะมีนามที่แตกต่างกัน อาทิ ธิเบตเรียกว่า “ชัมพล“ ส่วนในประเทศไทยเราท่านเป็นองค์เดียวกับท้าวกุเวรหรือ “ท้าวเวสสุวรรณ“ หนึ่งในจตุโลกบาลนั่นเอง
มีความเชื่อกันสืบมาว่า #เทพเจ้าไฉ่ซิงเอี๊ย จะเสด็จมายังโลกมนุษย์เพียงปีละครั้งคือในวันตรุษจีน ดังนั้นชาวจีนตั้งแต่โบราณ เมื่อเข้าสู่วันตรุษจีน (นับตั้งแต่ 0.00 น.) จะทำการตั้งโต๊ะบูชาไฉ่ซิงเอี๊ยโดยการหันหน้าไปทิศต่างๆ ที่เชื่อว่าไฉ่ซิงเอี้ยจะเสด็จลงมา ซึ่งในแต่ละปีทิศทางจะแตกต่างกันไป โดยเวลาที่จะทำการบูชาคือ 23.00–01.00 น. ของวันตรุษจีน
ส่วนของที่นำมาสักการะบูชา นิยมใช้ของหวาน เช่น ผลไม้, อาหารเจ, บัวลอย, สาคู หรือของรับประทานต่างๆที่มีสีสันสดใส แต่ไม่ใช้ของคาวหรือเนื้อสัตว์ พร้อมกับนำสิ่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเงินทองเช่น สมุดบัญชีธนาคาร, เช็ค หรือกระเป๋าเงิน มาตั้งวางไว้ด้วย เป็นต้น
เมื่อทำการบูชา ให้หันไปทางทิศที่เทพเจ้าไฉ่ซิงเอี้ยจะเสด็จลงมา จากนั้นจุดธูป 9 ดอก ให้บอกวันเดือนปีเกิดของผู้ทำการไหว้ขอพร แล้วจึงอธิษฐานตามความปรารถนา

Light to beg for auspicious blessings from Caishen (财神), the god of wealth, to have mercy on prayers who worship him to have fortune, wealth and money. The blessing of Caishen (财神) will also enhance the prayer to have much more valuable things and property increasingly. Moreover, he will support business & work to be more prosperous.
Arjarn Jake brought Thao Wessuwan Yantra, who is regarded as another avatar of Caishen (财神) in the belief of Thai people to bind with various fortune spells completed to be “Phaya Sethi Riak Sub (God Of Wealth)” which is the great Yantra of the great fortune.
Arjarn Jake brought Phaya Sethi Riak Sub Yantra to make a candle wick for “God Of Wealth Candle” for lighting on the night of the Chinese New Year ceremony to receive the auspicious blessing from Caishen (财神) especially. It is the auspicious time that all believers will take this lucky opportunity to ask for blessings from Caishen (财神) with a magic candle that was made directly to connect with the god of wealth.
History & Meaning Of The Worshipping Ceremony Of Caishen.
One of the auspicious ceremonies that the Chinese believe and practice on Chinese New Year is the worshipping ceremony of Caishen (财神) which is the god that gives money and fortune. (by the Chinese people consider Caishen as the god of fortune) Moreover, Caishen is also considered the most important god to enter the new zodiac year (Chinese New Year) because he is the god that has been worshiped as the first Lord of the year.
The worshipping ceremony of Caishen (财神), the god of fortune and wealth, can be found in many countries in Asia, such as Tibet, China, Japan, Korea, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, but will have different names, such as Tibetan called Champon. In Thailand, we call Thao Wessuwan, Kuvera or Vessavana.
It is believed that Caishen (财神) will come to the human world only once a year, which is on the Chinese New Year, so since ancient times when entering the Chinese New Year (since 0.00 am), the Chinese will set up a table to worship Caishen (财神) to the direction that believe Caishen (财神) will come down which each year will has different directions by the time to worship is 23.00-01.00 am. of the Chinese New Year.
For the part of the shrine for worshipping Caishen (财神), we will use desserts such as fruits, vegetarian food, bua loi, sago, or other colorful foods, but do not use fish or meat. Along with bringing things related to money such as bank book, cheque or wallet and etc to set up together.
When making an offering, turn to the direction where Caishen (财神) will come down. Then light 9 incense sticks to tell the date of birth of the person who prays for auspicious blessings.
