ในตำรากล่าวไว้ว่าผู้ใดปรารถนาความเจริญรุ่งเรืองความร่ำรวยแล้วไซร้ ให้หมั่นภาวนาพระคาถาบูชาพระสีวลีทุกวัน แล้วถวายภัตตาหารแก่พระสิวลีเถระเจ้าด้วยน้ำผึ้ง, ผลไม้และดอกไม้หอมอยู่เป็นนิจ บุคคลผู้ใดทำได้เช่นนี้แล้ว จะไม่รู้จักกับคำว่าไม่มี ไม่ดี ไม่ได้ ไม่สำเร็จเลย
