#ประวัติความเป็นมาของวิชาที่สุดแสนจะไม่ธรรมดา
ตามที่ครูบาอาจารย์เล่าต่อๆกันมานั้น ว่ากันว่าแรกเริ่มเดิมทีวิชา "หน้าพระเงินหน้าพระทอง" ถูกนำออกมาจากกรุวัดบึงพระยาสุเรนทร์ เมื่อครั้งสงครามเวียดนาม ช่วงก่อนปี2500 จึงเป็นเหตุ ตามคำแนะนำของอาจารย์อาวุโสเพื่อนำน้ำมันมนต์วิเศษชนิดหนึ่งในนั้น มาสักเสกทหารหาญเพื่อจะได้แคล้วคลาดปลอดภัยอยู่ยงคงกระพันรอดจากคมมีดคมกระสุนเมื่ออยู่ในสมรภูมิรบ
ซึ่งในการเปิดกรุครั้งนั้นนอกจากจะพบน้ำมันที่ว่าแล้ว ก็ยังได้พบกับ "คัมภีร์ใบลานทองคำ (ลักษณะเหมือนคัมภีร์ใบลานแต่วัสดุเป็นทองคำ)" ที่จารึกสรรพวิชาและเลขยันต์โบราณต่างๆไว้อย่างปราณีตบรรจง และที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจยิ่งกว่านั้นคือ ภายในคัมภัร์ใบลานทองคำกลับมีแผ่นจารึกเงิน 1 แผ่น และแผ่นจารึกทองคำอีก 1 ถูกเก็บซ่อนไว้อยู่ภายในด้วย
สันนิษฐานว่าแผ่นจารึกทั้ง2ถูกทำแยกต่างหากไว้ ไม่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของคัมภีร์ใบลาน จึงต้องพิเศษและล้ำค่ามาก ถึงถูกเก็บไว้ด้วยกัน แผ่นจารึกเงินก็คือวิชาหน้าพระเงิน ส่วนแผ่นจารึกทองก็คือวิชาหน้าพระทอง วิชาทั้งสองจึงเป็นของคู่กันมาแต่โบราณ คณาจารย์ในสมัยนั้นได้คัดลอกเก็บไว้และสืบทอดต่อๆกันมาโดยแบ่งชุดยันต์เป็น2ตอนคือตอนบน และตอนล่าง
เมื่อกาลเวลาล่วงเลยผ่านไป วิชานี้ก็เริ่มสาบสูญ จึงหาได้ยากยิ่งที่ใครจะมีครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ตามแบบฉบับดั้งเดิม ตัวอย่างวัตถุมงคลที่มีชื่อเสียง จากส่วนหนึ่งของวิชาหน้าพระเงินหน้าพระทองก็คือ “ผ้ายันต์เม็ดมะม่วง หรือ ผ้ายันต์ธงพระฉิมมหาลาภ” หลวงพ่อซวง วัดชีปะขาว จ.สิงห์บุรี ขึ้นชื่อมากว่าบ้านไหนมีไว้บูชา มีกินไม่ขาดเลย
The History Of The Royal Subject.
According to the legend about this subject, It is said that originally the subject "Royal Silver Face Golden Mask" was taken from Bung Phraya Suren pagoda during the Vietnam War before 1957. The pagoda was opened according to the advice of senior master to bring one kind of magical oil in there for tattooing the brave soldiers to be safe, invincible, survive from the sharp knife & deadly bullet when they are fighting in the battlefield.
Inside the pagoda not only has the magical oil but, also has "Golden Scripture (Looks like an ancient palm leaf manuscripts , but the material is gold). It is the ancient scripture that full of many magic subjects inscription elaborately. Amazingly, there is a silver tablet and 1 gold tablet hidden inside that golden scripture.
It is assumed that the two tablets were made separately, not a part of the golden scripture. Therefore, silver tablet and gold tablet must be very special and precious. The silver tablet is "Royal Silver Face" subject, while The gold plate is "Golden Mask" subject. Both subjects have been couple since ancient times. The senior magic masters at that time had been copied and passed down from one another to another by dividing the subject into 2 parts consisted of upper part & lower part.
When time passed by, this subject began to disappear. Therefore it is very rare for anyone to have complete and original version. Examples of famous amuelt from a part of this subject is "Cashew Nut Holy Cloth" made by LP.Suang , Wat Cha Pa Khow, Sing Buri province that is very famous.
