การสักการะบูชาสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่เรานับถือนั้น เครื่องบูชาที่สำคัญหลักๆ มีอยู่ 3 อย่างด้วยกันคือ 1.ดอกไม้ 2.ธูป 3.เทียน ซึ่งดอกไม้ก็มี “แจกัน” เป็นภาชนะรองรับ เทียนก็มี “เชิงเทียน” เป็นภาชนะรองรับ และธูปก็มี “กระถางธูป” เป็นภาชนะรองรับเช่นกัน
กระถางธูปเรียกคนและเงินทอง
ในที่นี้จะขอกล่าวถึงเรื่องของ “ธูป” เป็นสำคัญ ด้วยความเกี่ยวข้องกันระหว่าง 3 สิ่งคือ การสักการะบูชาสิ่งศักดิ์ศิทธิ์, ธูป และ กระถางธูป ทำให้บูรพาจารย์ในสมัยก่อนได้รังสรรค์รจนาวิชาต่างๆขึ้นมา และส่งทอดสืบต่อกันมาจากรุ่นสู่รุ่น โดยหนึ่งในวิชาที่โดดเด่นก็คือ “ยันต์ใส่กระถางธูป” เป็นวิชาที่ว่าด้วยการทำแผ่นยันต์ใส่ไว้ในกระถางธูป เพื่อผลทางเจริญรุ่งเรือง และโภคทรัพย์ เรียกผู้คนทีดี นำลาภสักการะมาสู่ และเร่งให้คำอธิษฐานสำเร็จส่งผลรวดเร็วทันใจ
ส่งคำอธิษฐานถึงชั้นฟ้าและบาดาล
พระอาจารย์โอท่านเองก็ได้รับสืบทอดวิชาการสร้าง “ยันต์ใส่กระถางธูป” มาเช่นกัน เป็นวิชาในตำหรับของหลวงปู่คง โสสิงสิ โดยการนำ "ตะกั่วอาถรรพ์" หลากหลายชนิด มาหลอมรวมกัน เข้ากับ “ปรอท” ด้วยกรรมวิธีโบราณ ซึ่งมีความสลับซับซ้อนและต้องอาศัยความวิริยะอุตสาหะเป็นอย่างยิ่ง หลังจากนั้นจึงนำมาลงด้วยอักขระเลขยันต์เฉพาะ เป็นพระยันต์ชั้นสูงที่แม้แต่ตำราการสร้างพระพิชัยสงครามก็มีระบุไว้ จนสำเร็จเป็นแผ่นยันต์ใส่กระถางธูป ที่สามารถส่งคำอธิษฐานของผู้บูชา ให้ไปถึง 16 ชั้นฟ้า 15 ชั้นดิน
ด้านหน้าลงด้วยยันต์ “มหาละลวย”
ในบรรดาพระยันต์เก่าแก่ทั้งหลาย ยันต์มหาละลวยเป็นหนึ่งในยันต์เหล่านั้นที่สำคัญยิ่ง จากการที่พระยันต์นี้ ปรากฎอยู่ในตำราแทบทุกสำนัก ยืนยันได้ว่า พระยันต์นี้มีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์เป็นอย่างมาก โบราณาจารย์ท่านจึงเล่าเรียนสืบต่อกันมา เป็นสุดยอดยันต์ที่ขึ้นชื่อทางด้านเสน่ห์เมตตา เจริญรุ่งเรือง เรียกจิต เรียกใจ เรียกผู้คนที่ดีทั้งปวง เป็นที่รักชอบแก่คนทั้งหลาย ใครไม่รู้จักก็มารู้จักเราดังญาติพี่น้องมิตรสหาย มีอำนาจดังพญาราชสีห์ กันภยันตรายทั้งปวง ผู้ใดได้พบยันต์นี้จะไม่มีวันอาภัพเลย
ด้านหลังลงด้วยยันต์ “จัตตุโรบังเกิดทรัพย์"
อีกหนึ่งยันต์ที่ขึ้นชื่อมาแต่โบราณ แต่น้อยคนนักจะรู้เคล็ดในการเขียนและเสกยันต์นี้ มีพุทธคุณเยี่ยมยอดไปทางเรียกเงินเรียกทอง ค้าขายดี รักษาทรัพย์สมบัติให้มั่งมี ร่ำรวยยิ่ง ๆ ขึ้นไป ในตำรากล่าวไว้ว่า "พระยันต์นี้ถ้าจะลงแผ่นเงิน จะมีเงินแสนชั่ง ถ้าลงแผ่นทอง จะมีทองแสนชั่ง ลงแล้วเกิดทรัพย์สมบัติมาก อย่าสนเท่ห์เลย"
นอกจากนี้ในการสร้างบ้าน หรือตั้งศาลพระภูมิ ก็มักจะนำยันต์นี้มาลงใส่แผ่นเงินแผ่นทองสำหรับบรรจุลงเสาเอกตามแบบโบราณอีกด้วย

สำหรับยันต์ใส่กระถางธูป นี้มีความเกี่ยวเนื่องกับ “หลวงปู่คง โสสิงสิ” โดยตรง เรื่องมีอยู่ว่าสมัยปีพ.ศ.2524 ได้มีอาจารย์อาวุโสท่านหนึ่ง สามารถสื่อสารกับขรัวตาคง โสสิงสิ อัครมหาสังฆาจารย์ เทพวิญญาณเอกองค์ปฏิยายเจ้า ได้อย่างถูกต้องตามจารีต ซึ่งอาจารย์อาวุโสท่านนั้นก็มีลูกศิษย์ลูกหามากมาย มีชื่อเสียงมากในแถบภาคใต้
วันหนึ่งได้มีลูกศิษย์คนหนึ่ง มาขอความเมตตา ขอพึ่งบุญบารมีของหลวงปู่คง ช่วยเขาให้รอดพ้นจากวิกฤติทางการเงินที่เขาหาทางออกไม่ได้ เนื่องจากธุรกิจที่ทำอยู่ มีแต่ขาดทุน ใกล้ถึงทางตัน และหากไม่มีอะไรดีขึ้น คงจะต้องปิดตัวลง และเป็นหนี้สินมากมายอย่างแน่นอน หนำซ้ำลูกๆของเขา ก็กำลังเรียนอยู่ต่างประเทศ หากธุรกิจล้มละลายลง ลูกๆก็คงเรียนไม่จบ เพราะไม่มีเงินส่งเรียนอีกต่อไป ปัญหาต่างๆคงถาโถมเข้ามาจนยากสุดคาดเดา
อาจารย์อาวุโสได้ฟังดังนั้น ก็เลยบอกไปว่า “เธอเคยนำธูปเทียนมาจุดถวายหลวงปู่ที่สำนักอยู่ เดี๋ยวฉันจะทำแผ่นยันต์ใส่กระถางธูป ให้นำไปใส่ไว้ในกระถางธูปหน้าร้านของเธอ แล้วหมั่นจุดธูปอธิษฐานปักลงไปที่กระถางธูปทุกวัน แล้วสถานการณ์จะดีขึ้น”
