2. หากต้องการให้อานุภาพของเทียนส่งผลสูงสุด ก่อนจะจุดเทียน ครูบาฐากูรท่านว่า ควรหาดอกกุหลาบสีแดง 7 ดอกมาใส่พาน มาบูชาเจ้าเงาะก่อนทำการจุดบูชา ถ้าทำได้ดังนี้ แรงครูจะส่งผลให้สิ่งที่ปรารถนาสมหวังทันใจ

 

3. ช่วงแรกควรจุดเทียนชนิดนี้ อาทิตย์ละ 1 ครั้งในวันเกิดของตน ติดต่อกันจนครบเดือน หลังจากนั้นสามารถจุดได้ตามวาระโอกาสต่างๆตามความเหมาะสม

โดยการทำเทียนของท่าน จะเริ่มจากการนำกระดาษสา มาลงด้วยยันต์ชนิดต่างๆ จนสำเร็จเป็น "ยันต์เทียน" ซึ่งยันต์แต่ละชนิดก็จะมีพุทธคุณต่างๆกันไป แล้วแต่ยันต์ที่ท่านเลือกนำมาใช้ หลังจากนั้นครูบาฐากูรจะนำยันต์เทียนมาห่อหุ้ม"เชือกฝ้ายดิบ" เพื่อทำเป็นไส้เทียน แล้วจึงนำ "ขี้ผึ้งแท้" มาฟั่นขึ้นเป็นเทียน ก่อนนำไปอธิษฐานจิตปลุกเสกตามฤกษ์ยามมงคล

 

ครูบาฐากูรท่านยึดถือการทำเทียนตามขนบจารีตประเพณีโบราณดั้งเดิมเช่นนี้ ลงมือทำด้วยมือท่านเองทีละเล่มทุกขั้นตอน แม้จะมีกรรมวิธีการทำที่พิถีพิถันและใช้เวลานานกว่าการทำเทียนทั่วๆไป ก็เนื่องด้วยว่าท่านมีเจตจำนงค์ต้องการให้อานุภาพของเทียนส่งผลสูงสุดแก่ผู้ที่นำไปจุดบูชา มุ่งหวังว่าผู้ศรัทธาจะได้รับสิ่งดีๆและประสบการณ์อันน่าประทับใจเฉกเช่นเดียวกับที่ครูอาจารย์รุ่นก่อนๆท่านว่าไว้ทุกประการนั่นเอง
